General
Now that you have your own Pokémon, it's time to start working with them! One of the easiest things to do with them in PKMNation is to level them up. You aren't required to do this, however, it is purely optional. There are plenty of ways to level up your Pokémon. Should you need more insight on leveling and everything on this page, please refer to the Leveling Journal on the group's page.

Leveling With Art
When you draw art of your Pokémon, they gain levels! Please be aware that we only except fully colored images, meaning that if you only have the outlines of a drawing, you cannot receive levels from it. There's several different ways for you to draw your Pokémon and gain levels.
- Sketches = +1 Level
- When submitting sketches for levels, the sketch must be a fully body sketch of your Pokemon. The sketch must also have flat colors. You cannot gain levels from backgrounds or shading when doing sketch levels. Feel free to shove as many sketches onto one submission as you please, so long as you don't go over the cap for Mass Leveling. Look below for information on Mass Leveling.
- Headshots or Partials = +1 Level
- Does your art only feature part of your Pokemon? Well, you can gain levels from that!
- Chibis = +1 Level
- Want to draw your Pokemon looking cute and cuddly? Feel free! Since chibi art styles typically don't show a lot of detail, these only count for +1 level when drawing your Pokemon like this.
- Full Body = +2 Levels
- Full bodies count if at least 70% of your Pokemon is showing on the image.
- Shading = + 2 Levels
- If any of the above has noticeable shading, your Pokemon can gain +2 levels from it.
- Backgrounds = +2 Levels
- For every background you have with your Pokemon, they gain another +2 levels. Please make note that Having multiple drawings of the same Pokemon on one background will only gain that Pokemon +2 levels. However, should you have multiple Pokemon on one background, they will all gain +2 levels.
